Sip Syrup was founded by the talented team behind Crwst, a small chain of coffee and brunch cafés in West Wales. With years of experience in the industry, they’ve always been passionate about delivering exceptional quality, whether it’s through ethically sourced beans or premium milk and alternatives. However, one challenge they consistently faced was finding syrups that met their high standards. Most options on the market were loaded with preservatives and chemicals and came in cheap plastic packaging.
That frustration led the team to create their own range of premium syrups made from high-quality, natural ingredients and packaged in sustainable, recyclable aluminium.

Disrupting the market…
When the team at Sip approached me, they were looking for help with branding the company and launching their first few syrup flavours. The goal was to break away from the outdated styles dominating the market and introduce a bold, modern identity that reflected the superior quality of their syrups.
Sip faces strong competition from several well-established household names in the syrup market. However, while many existing products rely on traditional formulas, Sip offers a unique, eco-friendly option, free of preservatives and chemicals. To stand out in this crowded landscape, the brand needed to be bold, visually striking, and disruptive.
